History

Digital TheodolyteEstablish in 1968 by Misters Derek Webster and John Webster formerly Vickers Instruments. Vickers Instrument had formerly been Cooke Troughton and Simms, who started in South Africa in the late 1920’s, and Mr. Derek Webster was sent from York, England to open their Johannesburg Office in 1931.

Company Goals

  1. Our main aim was to establish a reputable service facility servicing all makes of equipment, and calibrating to a national standard (C.S.I.R calibration certificate copy attached), which today is a site requirement.
  2. To establish what our client’s needs and applications are therefore assisting him to find the quickest one stop solution that will help him save time and money.
  3. Supplying new equipment for construction laser and survey equipment.
  4. Provide technical support and training instruction in the use of equipment such as total stations, construction lasers, etc. therefore increase production and minimize downtime.
  5. Offer one stop solutions and proposals for on-site corrective instruction.

Mission Statement

We strive for above excellence in service and sales of construction/ survey equipment. Servicing our clients with quality workmanship and friendly staff. Above all our client’s needs and applications come first and foremost for us.

 

BEE Compliant

We currently employ 10 people, and we are fully BEE compliant.

 

Management

The company is currently managed by Allan Webster, assisted by Mr. Ben Ledwaba (Workshop) and

Mr. Andre Kleinhans (Finance)
